Description: An elegant pair of Model 128 lounge chairs designed by Grete Jalk for France & Son in 1963. The chair has an elongated seat framed by broad, boomerang-reminiscent armrests. The open back of the chair is described by four organically curved slats. Chair frame is constructed in teak and the cushions have been reupholstered in a pearl-grey Indian cotton textile. Each chair bears a manufacturer's medallion - one for France & Son, one for France & Daverkosen.
This item is on view at our Los Angeles showroom located at 5102 Fountain Avenue, open from 11am - 7pm Tuesday through Thursday, 10am - 7pm Saturday, and 11am - 5pm Sunday.
Condition: Excellent vintage condition; chair frames have been cleaned and oiled and upholstery and cushions have been replaced. Re-strung with original rubber straps.
Dimensions: 28" width x 29" depth x 32" height; seat height 17.5" and arm height 21.5".
Shipping: The piece can be shipped door-to-door for a cost of $395. Once your order has been processed and we have received cleared payment, your item will be dispatched as quickly as possible. We offer hand delivery in the Los Angeles and Bay Areas at competitive rates, and complimentary pickup from our showroom at 5102 Fountain Avenue in Los Angeles. Returns on genuinely faulty merchandise will be accepted within two weeks of delivery, with shipping at buyer's expense + a 20% restocking fee.
